Julia starts her musical journey at the age of eight in the heart of a small music school in Ontinyent, Valencia-Spain, where she falls in love with the clarinet. Julia finishes her elementary studies in the Agrupació Musical d’Ontinyent and at the age of twelve, she is accepted at the Conservatorio Professional de Música d’Ontinyent where she is awarded with various academic prizes such as the Premi Professional de Grau Mitjà d’Ontinyent en l’especialitat de Clarinet and the Premi Ciutat d’Ontinyent as her outstanding record as a clarinet student.  

Once finished her professional studies, Julia gets accepted in the Conservatiorio Superior de Música “Óscar Esplà” de Alicante where she completed her Bachelor of Music (Hons) and her master’s degree on Musical Research and Performance with the prestigious international clarinettist José Franch Ballester as her main tutor. 

After graduating in Spain, Julia is accepted at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as part of the Orchestral Artistry programme in association with the London Symphony Orchestra with Andrew Marriner, James Burke, Joy Farral, Robert Ault, and Jennifer McLaren as her main tutors. In addition, the Timothy Gee Foundation decides to award her with a scholarship to promote her studies during the two years that she spends at the Guildhall. Julia graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Distinction, Concert Recital Diploma and with a promotional scholarship for young musicians awarded by The Marjorie & Dorothy Whyte Memorial Fund Award.

Julia has worked and collaborated with very prestigious orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid, among others. Thanks to this, Julia has had the privilege to work with prestigious conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Marin Alsop, Gianandrea Noseda, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Ben Gernon, Roberto González Monjas, Vassili Sinaisky, Takuo Yuasa, among others.

Julia has been always passional about Chamber Music, so is that she has been a founding member of several groups like The Lakeside Clarinets, Klei Quintet and Aeolian Duo. These experiences and more have led her to play in very prestigious places such as Wigmore Hall, Barbican Center, Carnegie Hall in New York or in the National Auditorium of Spain.
Julia is currently a Debut Horizon Artist, a Carbonissimo brand ambassador in the UK and a Musicnotes Signature Artist as a VGM Arranger.
