Welcome to Sudbury Symphony Orchestra. We are a full sized Symphony Orchestra with nearly forty permanent members. We give three or four concerts a year and spend a weekend in July practising together under the supervision of qualified music tutors. We encourage young people to join the orchestra. The Orchestra can provide a vehicle for solo performances by young musicians.

The object of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of orchestral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public orchestral concerts.

Our conductor is Matthew Andrews and we meet on a weekly basis in the academic year.
